Good afternoon Allstat! I am currently recruiting for a Bioinformatics Scientist, a permanent position based in central Germany. This role is for a mid-sized biotech with a number of exciting collaborations with both industry and academic partners and a promising pipeline of novel therapeutic agents. Responsibilities in this role will include: * Conducting statistical analysis of both in-vitro and in-vivo pharmacology data * Analysis of large HTS biological datasets (proteomics, transcriptomics) * Continuous development of relevant software tools * Use of image analysis procedures, including script development for the exploration of high-dimensionality datasets * Close interaction with various teams and researchers in support of drug development efforts For this role, my client is seeking the following: * A Masters' Degree or relevant Diploma in Bioinformatics, Informatics or Biology * 1-2 years of industry or academic experience * Strong programming skills in at least 2 scripting languages (e.g Java, Javascript, Perl, R, Python, etc...) * Proficiency in working with bioinformatics tools and an understanding of common bioinformatics algorithms I am recruiting for a number of positions within Informatics, Statistics, Programming and Data Management, so if you are interested in this role (or indeed any of the others we are currently recruiting for), please forward your CV to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> for an informal chat.
