Since then you may have also seen that AOL have made similar changes to their security settings. I'm pleased to confirm that as of Friday 25th April, our service providers, L-Soft, have implemented a solution to work with these email configurations. Everything is now running normally on JiscMail, and subscribers with Yahoo! and AOL email address can post messages to JiscMail lists. The only change you may notice is that when an email is sent from a Yahoo! or AOL subscriber, their email address is replaced by a unique JiscMail address, but the sender's full name is still displayed. If you reply directly to this address, your message will be forwarded to the original sender by JiscMail. In the list archives you'll see the original email address as usual. A copy of this message will be sent to JISCMAIL-NEWSLETTER but not all JiscMail subscribers receive this, so if you have subscribers using AOL/Yahoo! email addresses then you may wish to notify them directly (off the list) or copy this message to your list.
