The Centre for Sustainable Road Freight invites you to an International
Workshop on Sustainable Road Freight Transport.
The workshop will be held in Cambridge on 2nd September 2014, the day before
the Annual Logistics Network Conference 2014.
The aim of the workshop is to identify research agendas and to facilitate
collaboration amongst the Research Community, with the focus on four
strategic themes:
. Long haul transport
. Freight transport in urban areas
. Risk and resilience in freight transport systems
. Big data & freight transport models
Each session will start with invited presentations on vehicle engineering,
logistics management and related information flows in the context of the
above themes. This will be followed by discussions aimed at and identifying
strategic directions for future research and forming collaborations in order
to exploit synergies between existing and planned research projects carried
out around the world.
