What’s in a name? Information governance finds a home on the EDRM |
Unstructured
On changing the name of the first node from Information Management to
Information Governance, the EDRM says it was “to show that every
well-managed e-discovery process should start and end with sound
information governance” and that the change would better align the EDRM
with the IGRM. I agree in principle that the two models deserved to be
better aligned, but am also not quite sure changing the name of the first
node from IM to IG was the right step either.
