If you're a bioscience researcher at a UK university of institute and involved in science communication apply to the Society of Biology Science Communication Awards. Society of Biology members can read about our 2013 winners in the latest issue of The Biologist (https://thebiologist.societyofbiology.org/biologist-features/158-biologist/features/850-great-communication) and anyone can hear from winner and new judge Liz Granger on our blog (http://societyofbiologyblog.org/science-communication-award-2014-why-apply/ ).

The Awards are intended to reward outreach work carried out by both young scientists and established researchers to inform, enthuse and engage the public. There are two categories of award:

* Established Researcher Prize -The Established Researcher Award is open to bioscience researchers who are beyond the first stages of their research career, as defined in the New Researcher category.
