The ARLIS Visual Resources Committee presents this event which will be of interest to anyone involved in art and design at HE level (librarians, visual resources specialists, lecturers) wanting to know more about visual literacy and how they can incorporate it into their own working practices.
Speakers include both academics and librarians who will be sharing their experience, illustrated with case studies. There will be plenty of opportunity for attendees to raise questions and exchange ideas in a final plenary session. A representative from JISC Digital Media will also be attending to respond to any questions relating to image copyright and the forthcoming changes in copyright legislation.
ARLIS members £85, non-members £105, Unwaged members £43 and unwaged non-members £53. Lunch will be provided
