A reminder that UKSG has announced a call for topics and speakers for the 38th Annual Conference, which will be held in Glasgow, UK, from 30 March to 1 April 2015. The deadline for suggestions is Friday 23 May 2014. The conference attracts almost 1,000 delegates from across the global knowledge community, including librarians, publishers and intermediaries, and provides an outstanding forum for discussing trends, showcasing initiatives, finding out about current practice across sectors, and connecting with other professionals. Suggestions for speakers, and topics for plenary sessions, breakout sessions and lightning talks are invited, and must be submitted via the UKSG website at http://www.uksg.org/event/conference15/callforpapers to be considered by the Committee. Due to the volume of suggestions received, it will not be possible to respond to each individually. However, UKSG aims to contact potential speakers by 31 July 2014.
