I cant dance at all but am a vinyl junkie so will volunteer to be resident DJ for any event!

Surely The Incredible String Band or am I showing (1) too much time spent on Savingthe70s project and (2) my age…. Because I even know which L.P. and which track…

I figured Essex would also be up for a solo spot (my head had something like the Dylan video with the cards, each one with a rotten pun on it).

At last! An area where the GEM board could make a real difference. We could do a cracking ensemble piece, and I know Nick would be up for a solo spot, if only we could get him to stop twerking.  Suggestions for music, anyone?  For some reason I’ve got the Bee Gees going round in my head.

This may be a slightly too serious request for a Friday, but I thought it was worth making. Watching these videos almost made me cry with happiness.

I strongly feel that the UK museum scene needs to respond to these videos with dance-offs of its own - if for no other reasons than to remind us that working in museums can be wonderful, and to cheer ourselves up in such gloomy times. (Plus social media will LOVE it). There are so many amazing museums (full, I’m sure, of talented dancers), and so many cheerful tunes, that the options must be endless.

So, does anyone accept the challenge? This is obviously the best possible use of your Friday.
