We don’t allow tutors to see the papers until at least 24 hours after the exam (and sometimes longer when we’re really busy). You never know if the tutor has a child taking the same exam with another centre with an adjusted start time. However if a member of staff wants to see a paper then they can stand at the exams office window and have a look once the exam is over and if we have no clashes. If other centres have clashes then it's their responsibility to keep their students in seclusion, and regardless, the exam is no longer secure once the first student has left the exam room. We find that having the papers soon after the exam finishes helps the teachers to understand the content and answer student queries/reassure them.
