'Island Cities and Urban Archipelagos' is an international, interdisciplinary academic conference exploring the cultures, economies, and politics of island cities worldwide. The conference will consider how island status influences urban
development and common attributes of island cities. It will also consider how islands and archipelagos can be used as conceptual tools for understanding urban development more broadly.
