Hi Everyone

I have just begun to look into meta-discoursal features in academic writing at L1 English undergraduate level and multilingual pre-university level. The aim is to attempt a comparative study in the frequency and distribution of meta-discoursal features in the two groups.

My ideas are still developing in this area so I would appreciate any input from those with more experience.

Has anyone come across any relevant recent work in this area?
