Dear All,
Has anyone put a SAR in to Google? The reason I ask is that one of the key parts of the response has to be to explain whether and how the personal data is used in any automated decision making. It strikes me that their algorithms (any service using algorithms) is doing just that, using an automated process to process personal data.
I appreciate that people may not want to reveal publicly if they have made a SAR, but I would be interested in any general experience, as a data controller or as a data subject, regarding the need to explain in a SAR the automated processing.
Thanks
Lawrence
