Dear all, From fine artists to fashion designers; film-makers to architects, Euroart's 70 studio's buzz with an eclectic and exciting range of work. Notable residents include Lorraine Clarke who has run the studios since founding them in 2002 and whose fabulous studio showcases her curious anthropological works. The SFX works of Nigel Booth (responsible for the prosthetics and models of numerous films) and the paintings of Matt Small (a prominent figure in the urban art scene) are also big draws - amongst many, many others. The Open Studios weekend promises visitors the chance to meet such established, as well as up and coming, artists. With a silent auction and art raffle (offering the chance to win a £250 voucher that can be put towards purchasing any artists' works) also planned, visitors may well find themselves walking away with something original and unique. Meanwhile, a twinning collaboration with the studio.ra gallery in Rome will offer visitors exposure to the work of International artists in addition to that of the locals. With major regeneration already underway, Tottenham is fast becoming increasingly attractive - not least to artists moving in from surrounding areas like Shoreditch and Dalston. University of the Arts has also recognised the area's swift links to Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion with a Halls of Residence in the area.
