Dear all

the TNA Cloud Storage and Digital Preservation webinar has proved extremely popular. All 100 places have now been reserved. For those who have not reserved a place, we will be making a webinar recording that can be accessed via the TNA website at a later date. We will publicise arrangements for accessing the recording to the list once it is hosted and available on the TNA site.

Subject: The National Archives Webinar 13 May: Cloud Storage and Digital Preservation - registration now open

Apologies for cross-posting.

How can cloud storage help address growing digital preservation challenges? The National Archives is running a webinar from 12.30-13.30 on Tuesday 13 May to introduce the new cloud storage and digital preservation guidance, which will be available on the TNA website next week (a separate announcement and link url will be posted to the list when the guidance is released).

The webinar is an opportunity to learn more about this new guidance, and to put your questions to its authors: Neil Beagrie, Andre Charlesworth and Paul Miller, and Emma Markiewicz from Archives Sector Development at The National Archives.

Please register for the event in advance, as numbers will be limited. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the webinar.

If you would like to submit questions for the webinar in advance, please email them to Neil Beagrie at [log in to unmask].
