Day in the Life: Where every box tells a story | Plymouth Herald

WORK at the Record Office starts at 8:30am, an unusually early start for me but I’m up for the challenge.

Having crowbarred myself out of bed, I arrived to find the archivists are already at work preparing for the first visitors at 9:30am.

After the obligatory health and safety briefing I’m off to the archives room to delve into some Plymouth history.

Walking into the archives room, which is actually a warehouse, is a bit of an Indiana Jones moment
