University of Glasgow Archive Assistant – Graduate Trainee x3 Salary: Grade 3, £15,456 - £17,678 per annum. Three one-year traineeships are available for graduates looking for experience before applying for a postgraduate course and establishing a career in archives and/or special collections. Two posts are based in Archive Services and one post is based in Special Collections and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Archives. The traineeship is fixed term for 1 year: 1st August 2014 – 31st July 2015. You will participate in the provision of services. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting searchroom visitors, answering enquiries, producing items from the repository, contributing to the long-term preservation of the archival collections and box-listing archives.
