Opportunities in Population Health Sciences

We are seeking  ambitious researchers  at a range of entry levels to join the Division of Population Health Sciences at the University of Dundee.  We seek candidates who  will  add to  our thriving, energetic programmes of research in common disease epidemiology, primary care and public health research.  The Division is  an internationally recognised  leader  in research in using electronic health care record data and part of the newly established  UK network of E-health Informatics Research Centres of excellence.

Posts available include post-doctoral fellowships. We especially seek  expressions  of  interest from those with an emerging track record of  high impact research in:


*         Diabetes, Cancer  or Cardiovascular Epidemiology

*         Primary Care, Public Health, and Health Services Research

*         Biostatistics including methods for high dimensional data

Start-up funding/relocation package and level of appointment will be subject to individual status.  Junior academics will be expected to be both eligible and competitive for available personal fellowship schemes to support their research programme. Established investigators will have a proven record of attracting significant research support from funding agencies.

The Division enjoys strong links with the NHS and the College of Life Sciences, which is located nearby.
