The Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology is inviting applications for a postdoctoral research fellow post in Biostatistics in the project “Meta-analysis with missing outcome data in psychiatric trials”. The project started in October 2012. The successful applicant is expected to start immediately and the program is expected to finish in October 2015.

Qualifications: Applicants should have strong quantitative skills. They should have a PhD either in biostatistics or epidemiology and a proven record of publications related to meta-analysis. They should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. After the training period, the post holder is expected to start developing and applying statistical models to complex clinical problems. 

Setting: The post is embedded in a research project funded by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology in Greece. 
Project outline: The research post entails epidemiological and statistical research in the field of missing data and meta-analysis. The focus is on the statistical aspects of accounting for missing outcome data in network meta-analysis.
