Applicants are invited for one temporary 1 year appointment as Lecturer (below the bar) in Sociology, located the UCD School of Sociology. The appointee will carry out normal teaching, examining, administration and research duties and will contribute to other activities of the School as directed by the Head of School and/or his/her nominee. The main teaching responsibility will include delivering undergraduate modules.

Appointees will commence in this post on the 1st September 2014.
2013 (2010) Lecturer (BTB) Salary Scale: €35,355 – €56,602 per annum
2013 (2011) Lecturer (BTB) Salary Scale: €31,820 – €50,942 per annum*
* Subject to all new entrants to public sector as of 01 January 2011
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
