Especially the "Protect" marking and caveats. And I totally agree that for those organisations who have spent considerable time and effort implementing the Government's previous protective marking scheme, this must be very frustrating - (euphemism). It also illustrates the importance of placing your own organisation's requirements at the heart of any information governance strategy, applying external standards & schemes cautiously and with a clear understanding of your own organisational circumstances, operating environment etc... The introduction of streamlined and seemingly easier security levels is not a straightforward change. We have already seen some issues with this. And there is no mapping possible between old and new (indeed that is not recommended!) But then of course, it is not compulsory for local government to adopt unless dealing with Central Governement Agencies.....
