Hi,

I have been asked by a colleague to help circulate the information below:

"You may or may not be aware of the impending cuts to the budget at Kew Gardens which will possibly lead to the loss of over 120 posts in conservation and science at Kew & Wakehurst. If you could spare a moment to sign the petition below asking Owen Paterson to reverse these cuts I, and those at risk, will be grateful for your support. Please pass this on to others who may also be interested in signing the petition."

As scientists and communicators concerned about global biodiversity and raising its profile with the public, this is an important cause. The majority of posts will be lost in the areas of science and public engagement.

All the best,

Adelia
