Josef Albers 'Interaction of Color' (Yale University Press 1963) is a classic text on this topic for all designers and although not 'scientific', is still highly relevant today.

Subject: Literature on the use of color?

Dear colleagues,
does anyone know recent literature or a literature review on the use of color in graphic design? In Germany we often resort to Eva Heller, 1989. Wie Farben wirken (How colors work). But this is not a scientific source.

Best,
Jan-Henning
