A training event aimed at providing postgraduate students with tools and resources that will help them to effectively join the gap between their academic research and the non-academic community. The event will address challenges that doctoral researchers encounter when disseminating their research to the public, industry, and local and international communities. It will comprise workshops and discussions with academic and industry professionals, providing students with practical guidance on how they can disseminate their research via public-facing organizations, collaborate with local media, and build relationships with schools and community organizations, including:

> Public Engagement and the Intercultural Community
> The ABCs of Working with Industry: Challenges, Pitfalls & Ways to Survive It
> A Conversation with Broadway Media Centre: Collaborating with Local Media
> Widening Participation and Outreach: Schools & the Community
> Public Engagement and Social Media
