Apologies for cross posting

Hello everyone

Welcome to our new theme to celebrate Norman McLaren’s Centenary! His birthday is on the 11th April and will be celebrated with a host of events in his home country Scotland and his adopted country, Canada.

This special theme month is guest curated by Dr Aimee Mollaghan, and will focus on movement in McLaren’s work.

Our first post is "Seeing Music Move: Norman McLaren’s Direct Animation and Jazz” by Lilly Husbands.

Please feel free to comment.

Please contact me if you have any questions about themes or the blog in general.

best wishes
