Brunel University and the University of Greenwich will be hosting a one-day conference on Working in the British Film and Television Industries as part of the "Calling the Tune" Film Festival at the Old Vinyl Factory in Hayes on Friday, June 20, 2014. For full details, see the following link: www.callingthetune.com The conference will be followed by a screening of Get Carter (Mike Hodges, 1971) which will be introduced by Andrew Spicer, author of The Man Who Got Carter: Michael Klinger, Independent Production and the British Film Industry.
