Dear all,
·
Are you interested in how patients, carers etc. get trusted, quality information about health?
·
Do you want to network with other people who are involved in providing this information?
·
Do you want to be able to ask a question; get help and find out what is happening in other organisations across the North West?
·
Do you want to hear about national, regional and local initiatives around health information for patients, carers etc.?
If you do, then we are launching a new, free email discussion group to bring everyone who is interested in this agenda together. You might be involved in developing information, delivering
it or using it – this might be working directly with patients, carers etc. – or it might be that you provide information to other staff (e.g. doctors) who provide information to patients.
If you’ve noticed that “patients, carers, families and the wider general public” is a bit of a mouthful – then we’re going to shorten it by calling it “consumer health information” –
and that’s why this new network is called Consumer Health Information North West – or CHI-NW for short.
To join the CHI-NW network please go to
http://lists.lihnn.nhs.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/chi-nw and complete the subscription form.
My first, welcome message to the network will be posted on
Monday 12th May 2014 – join so that you don’t miss it!
I look forward to hearing from you,
David
