We do FS off site.

Edexcel give you a new site number to set up on a laptop.  The Administrator software is download to the laptop & the student software.  You enter the student in a normal way but use the new site number.  You download the exam onto the laptop while connected to the college network exactly the same as you would in your online test room.  You unlock the exam before leaving college.  The student sits the exam off site as they would any FS exam.  Return back to the college and upload the exam as you do in the online test room.  Contact Edexcel they send you some good information on how to run them off site.

Does anyone run Edexcel Funky Skills offsite?  If so, is it easy?  Are there any problems that you have?

 

Our SB department are wanting to run them off site but I'm unsure of all the implications.
