The Glasgow School of Art is looking to recruit 7 Research Assistants for projects to support our interdisciplinary research themes across the Glasgow School of Art’s research portfolio.
As Research Assistant you will have responsibility to significantly advance the thematic areas via one of the projects listed below:
1. Pedagogy at the Glasgow School of Art and its influence on the Glasgow Miracle;
2. Studio as pedagogy: what works and how does it work?
3. The Material Culture of Critical Practices of Art and Design;
4. Energy, health and wellbeing in Low Energy Homes;
5. Becoming Awesomestow – profiling investments in cultural assets and creative quarters in British towns and
their impact on regeneration;
6. 3D Definitive Human;
7. Heritage Visualisations
The Research Assistant working on “Pedagogy at the Glasgow School of Art and its influence on the Glasgow Miracle” will work closely with the School’s Archives and Collections holdings.
The successful candidate will ideally possess a first degree in a relevant area of specialism and a relevant postgraduate qualification, or equivalent experience. You will also have excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision within limited timescales.
