Visiting Lecturer/Visiting Assistant Professor The Department of History at Brown University invites applications for a visiting lecturer/visiting assistant professor position in Chinese history for AY 2014-2015, with a preference for specialists in the modern period. Teaching load is two courses per semester, to include lecture courses on China (and possibly East Asia) and seminars in the instructorıs area of specialization. Salary is $10,000 per course, or $40K and reduced benefits for full-time position. Teaching experience essential; PhD preferred.
