TOPIC: Assistant Professor in Modern Chinese History

The History Department at Boston College invites applications for two one-year, non-renewable assistant professorships to begin in September 2014, the first in modern Chinese history and the second in Early Modern European history or the Early Modern Atlantic World, both to begin in September 2014.

Ph.D. required by August 2014. Please submit a letter of application, CV, evidence of teaching experience, an article-length writing sample, sample syllabi for two semester-long lecture/discussion courses, and at least three letters of reference.
