The Arlis Professional Development Committee presents this event, which is aimed to introduce those interested in a career in art librarianship to the diversity of the sector, the kind of work and roles involved, as well as the current job market and how to enter the profession. The speakers are drawn from a variety of different library settings and bring a wide range of experience and perspectives, including that of a recent graduate working in the sector. The day also includes a presentation by Donald Lickely (Sue Hill Recruitment) on the current job market and how to enhance your CV. The day closes with a tour of Tate Library, led by Jane Bramwell, Head of Tate Library and Archive.
