The National Gallery, London Job title: Researcher Department: Curatorial Salary: £18,975 to £23,024 Type: Fixed Term Full-Time Closing date: 4 May 2014 Interview date: 13 May 2014 Job ref:1028 The Gallery is seeking to employ Researchers for a project to find and record information from British Sales Catalogues between the years 1680 and 1780. This is a collaborative venture between the Gallery and the Getty Research Institute. You will locate relevant auction catalogues held in UK and continental libraries and archives; find and arrange for these to be photocopied or scanned; and then input the relevant information into the Getty Provenance Index databases. You must have a proven ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy in data entry and general project management skills.
