Dear colleague

I would appreciate if you could forward this advert to all interested parties.

I am currently recruiting a Research Associate Statistician to join my new group at the Bill Lyons Informatics Centre, the 6th floor extension of the Paul O’Gormon building (UCL Cancer Institute). This position is funded by Cancer Research UK to provide support for Cancer Research at UCL. This involve a wide range of exciting projects, from basic to translational research. Further information about the position is available at: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/cancer/blic/blicnews

The position offers the opportunity to access a wide range of data types from chromosome conformation capture (which captures physical interactions within the DNA), methylation data (that affects the function of the DNA), gene expression data, genome variants (i.e. the differences that make our DNA unique to ourselves), etc. We are seeking someone willing to develop models for the analysis and the integration of these data to better understand how the genome works.

Note that a biological background is not strictly required.

For informal queries, feel free to contact me at: Javier Herrero <[log in to unmask]>

The position is open until the 9th of April.

Kind regards

Javier
