Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate (KTP Associate) DeltaRail Group Ltd / University of Nottingham Three-year fixed term post in industry for a statistician/mathematician, salary between £22k-£27k with additional support and development allowances. The University of Nottingham and DeltaRail Group Limited have secured funding for a three-year post as a KTP Associate (more details of the KTP scheme are available at www.ktponline.org.uk). We are seeking a post-doc or strong MSc graduate who will be based at the company premises in Derby, with very regular interaction with academic supervisors. This post is ideal for a PhD/MSc graduate with a statistical or probability background wishing to apply their knowledge. The successful candidate will be involved in developing a predictive model of the rail network which focuses on forecast outcomes across a range of business and customer service objectives. The associate will lead and manage the project, with support from the company and university academics, developing professional management skills.
