Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Biostatistic University of Otago Dunedin, New Zealand DEPARTMENT OF PREVENTIVE AND SOCIAL MEDICINE We are seeking applicants for a full-time Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Biostatistics in the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, Dunedin School of Medicine. This is a confirmation path position at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level depending on qualifications and experience. Applicants should have a doctorate in biostatistics, or a closely related discipline, the ability to communicate with small and large groups, and a strong commitment to research. For a Senior Lecturer position, applicants should have a good record of publication and other evidence of research capability, including research funding and postgraduate student supervision. The successful applicant will be expected to engage in collaborative public health research, teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, supervision or co-supervision of research students in biostatistics and public health, and independent research in biostatistics.
