Applications are invited for a Statistician to work with Professor Deborah Ashby and Professor Neena Modi within the Neonatal Data Analysis Unit (NDAU) and the Neonatal Research Unit.

The principal purpose of the post is to develop and support the work of the Neonatal Data Analysis Unit and to provide general statistical support for the academic work of the Neonatal Research Unit. You will be supported by Professor Deborah Ashby, Professor of Clinical Trials & Statistics and other members of the School of Public Health, and by Professor Neena Modi, Professor of Neonatal Medicine and other members of the Neonatal Research Unit.

You will spend an agreed proportion of time at each campus (St Mary's and Chelsea & Westminster) as appropriate. The research encompasses clinical studies, randomised trials, and health services research.

Prior experience in the analysis of large health care databases, and in clinical, epidemiological and health services research would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in statistical analyses, demonstrable ability to design, implement and write up a project and strong skills in the use of major statistical packages such as Stata, SPSS or SAS.
