SENIOR SAS PROGRAMMER
UK/SOUTH EAST

Position: Senior SAS Programmer
Salary: Competitive

Role


Our client, a global pharmaceutical company based in the South East are looking to take on an experienced SAS Programmer to join their Biometrics team.



Responsibilities include

  *   Develop and plan programming documentation including plans and specifications, as appropriate.
  *   Lead statistical programming activities at study level or components of a clinical project.
  *   Programs, validates and documents data tabulations, graphics and statistical evaluations for efficacy and safety.
  *   Perform analyses for efficacy and safety data, generate graphs and tabulations and provide them the relevant parties in the Biostatics team.
  *   Interact with members of the Biometrics team, giving input and advice when necessary and help to generate or enhance internal programming procedures.
  *   Mentor and guide junior members of the team.
Experience, Skills, Knowledge

  *   Strong knowledge of SAS programming language with SAS/Base, SAS Macro, SAS/Graph.
  *   Ideally CDISC experience (SDTM)
  *   Excellent consultative skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills


Education/Qualifications



* Ideally looking for PhD or MSc in statistics, mathematics or other related studies, but BSc may be considered depending on statistical experience.
