Title: ‘The Privatisation and Marketisation of Criminal Justice’

Call for Papers:
We are looking for papers from academics, policy makers and practitioners. We will consider theoretical, policy and practice-based contributions around a wide range of issues that encompass the topic of privatisation and marketisation across the criminal justice system. Papers might include (this is not an exhaustive list):
•    The legitimacy of privatisation and marketisation
•    Ideologies of punishment
•    The impact of privatisation and marketisation on the public and third sectors
•    Public protection and safety
•    The ‘Transforming Rehabilitation’ agenda
•    Possible impact on practice with offenders

Abstract guidelines:
Proposals should be titled clearly and be a maximum of 250 words. Please include:
•    Proposer’s name and contact details
•    Job title or role
