Sai'n gwybod os oes term cymraeg swyddogol, ond o ran ystyr, cynigaf "stad" fel cyfieithad sy'n dal at ystyr 'stage' (h.y., staging yn cyfeirio at lefel esblygiad y tiwmor, p'un ai ydy'r canser wedi datblygu o diwmor lleol i diwmor sydd wedi lledaenu'n lleol/eang). Gellir defnyddio "nes bod diagnosis a stad y tiwmor wedi'i gadarnhau" i gyfieithu'r isod.
