Marxist Humanism after Marshall Berman

This one-day symposium seeks to recognise the contributions made by Marshall Berman (1940-2013) to studies of Marx, modernism, cities and authenticity and also to consider Berman’s legacy in terms of thinking through Marxist humanism’s continued potential to inspire interventions within the social sciences, arts and humanities and the realms of everyday life and political opposition.
