Hello all,

Two enquiries over the weekend that I can’t answer and so I am appealing for your help!

The first is this little wooden object with metal keys – looks like a Jews Harp type thing but we’re just not confident that that’s what it is – does anyone have any other suggestions please?

Secondly these two buttons – I am trying to find out whether the insignia on the buttons refers to a specific group of people/company/regiment etc – is anyone familiar with either or both of them? The left shows a crown over a shield, the shield has a locomotive and a ship in it. The legend is Labor Improbus Omnia Vincit. The second is a horse’s head with compass (I think!).

Many thanks

alexia
