Dear Colleagues – could I beg 5-10 minutes of your time to complete this short survey? (Link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1-C0zOyTK85rfYJVL6sSPgyN0Nfvhqjy7bmc9uvKL7ig/viewform )

I am the Head of Academic Staff Development at Leeds Metropolitan University. As the sector, and my own university, embraces TNE in its various guises, I am looking to gain a perspective on the range of approaches being taken specifically to the support and development of learning and teaching practice. This information is to inform my own thinking and any recommendations I might make for enhancing current practice in my own institution.

You will be given the option to ask for the results of the survey when you submit. If it generates a good response, I will think about how it might be further disseminated.

The survey seeks to inform understanding about the range of practices concerning specifically the support for/expectations of academic colleagues (UK and overseas) involved in TNE provision with regard to their learning and teaching practice. The survey is directed at those involved in/concerned for the advancement of learning and teaching in UK HEI's. It is appreciated that the survey will capture only a snap shot and will not be representative of the sector.

Participants and their organisations will not be identified or identifiable through the submissions process.

If you are not familiar  with how your institution is supporting specifically learning and teaching for staff here and in your overseas partners, please could I ask you to pass this on to anyone you think might be?

Any questions or further comments are probably best directed to me rather than to the whole SEDA community – [log in to unmask]

With thanks

David Killick
