Dear list, With so many calls for papers coming from unknown places I have started doing bits of checking. While some are very easy to dismiss, it starts to become very confusing. So much so that even when the trail leads to an actual university, I now find myself faced with shonky lists of qualifications and weird research claims. This is very dispiriting.
