VACANCY: CURATOR, THE REGIMENTAL MUSEUM OF THE ROYAL WELSH
Position: Curator
Organisation: The Regimental Museum of The Royal Welsh
Location: The Barracks, Brecon, Powys, LD3 7EB

Salary: £22,000 gross
Job type: Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Qualification:
A university degree or postgraduate diploma in museum studies or relevant subjects, with a minimum of five years working experience in museum related fields, and proven ability in planning and education programme
and production of exhibitions.
Previous experience in supervision of a team of staff is essential.
Duties:
General curatorial duties including preparation and production of exhibitions, related educational activities including outreach, and speaking to visiting groups.
A knowledge of collections management.
The curator will lead a team of staff and volunteers. Responsible to the Trustees through an Executive Management Committee for the overall management and administration of the Museum including basic accounts.
Responsible for learning and fundraising activities. May be required to work irregular hours.
