Dear all,

I found the following TED talk fascinating, and urge you to watch.  On both a personal level, re-framing stress and in our professional role, the neuroscience of oxytocin as part of the stress response is discussed.  To me, this gives the physiological explanation of how/why midwifery continuity of carer and/or relationship building is so effective.
