Dear colleagues The Department of History at the University of Paris 7 is recruiting a Professor in History of Knowledge (Early Modern Europe). Applications are welcome from scholars in any area of history of knowledge (not restricted to history of science). The profile is open to diverse fields : for instance, history of statecraft, of human sciences, of theology, of medecine, of erudition, of merchant culture etc. Research activity will take place into the Laboratory Identités-Cultures-Territoires (ICT) http://www.ict.univ-paris-diderot.fr/fr Teaching will be devoted to undergraduate and graduate students, in History. One seminar (epistemology of history) will be delivered to Master students in history and philosophy of science. Supervising will address Master students as well as PH.D. Students.
