*apologies for cross posting CILIP Research Data Management Executive Briefing | Tuesday 20 May 2014, London Research Data Management: The library's role CILIP's Research Data Management (RDM) Executive Briefing provides an important opportunity for information professionals to update their knowledge about RDM and provides a forum for in-depth presentations and informed debate. RDM is a complex area because of the diversity of research across different disciplines and the variety in data and practices of data management, use and sharing. Developing services will involve a culture change. It will certainly be a collaboration between researchers themselves, and a number of professional services such as the computing service, research administration, records managers, as well as the library. This CILIP briefing brings together speakers with a depth of experience in the early days of Research data policy and service development.
