We currently seek GIS/CAD analyst to work with a reputable oil and gas client in west London. This is a contract role, £18 p/h for 12+ months. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following key tasks and responsibilities: - GIS data collection, verification, cleansing, conversion and redistribution - CAD Design and (preferably AutoCAD) drawing production - Manage the storage and quality of project geodatabases ensuring high standards of associated metadata and attribute information. - GIS spatial analysis to support studies and engineering decision making - Importing and exporting of CAD data - GIS documentation and production of maps, plans and drawings - Collation and processing of project data including survey data - Liaise with other members of a project team, customers and subcontractors to define GIS standards and manage geospatial data according to project requirements Requirements The successful candidate should possess demonstrable experience in a similar role or environment and have the following key skills: - BSc. degree in Geographical Information Systems or related discipline - A thorough understanding of GIS theory and practice - Well skilled in ArcGIS and other ESRI products - Knowledge and experience of CAD design and drawing production - Experienced in working with different projection systems - Effective communicator as working with various engineering disciplines - Competence in data management - Good teamwork and communication skills - High standards of excellence and attention to detail DESIRABLE An understanding of common E&P spatial data types and experience loading and maintaining such GIS datasets Experienced in working with Survey data Any experience of GPS/mobile data capture To apply please send your CV through to [log in to unmask] TRS Staffing does not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and complies with all relevant UK legislation.
