King's German Department is delighted to invite you to this year's German Play, 'Trommeln in der Nacht' by Bertolt Brecht! Join us for a cabaret-style evening with refreshments and a live jazz band on Friday 14 March at 19.30 in Tutu's, Macadam Building, Surrey Street, London WC2R 2NS. The play will be performed in German with English surtitles. 'Trommeln in der Nacht' deals with themes of love and lust, capitalism and revolution. It tells the story of a soldier, who returns home after years of exile to find his life turned upside down.
