LEARNING AND OUTREACH OFFICER, St Edmund’s Church, Warkton, Northamptonshire.
Based at in the East Midlands Part-time (equivalent of 2.5 days per week) fixed term for 2 years.
We are looking for an experienced Learning and Outreach Officer to join the Prince’s Regeneration Trust project team to coordinate the delivery of the Activity Plan for the Heritage Lottery-funded Montagu Monuments Conservation and Outreach project in St Edmund’s Church. The postholder will need to work with PRT staff, the Buccleuch Living Heritage Trust and the Parochial Church Council and other project partners to ensure the Activity Plan is delivered in full and as far as possible to schedule and to cost, and particularly to develop the learning and interpretation content of the Montagu Monuments project by working with schools and local communities to ensure that the content reflects the diversity of the local area. This position is well suited to an individual with previous experience of developing learning resources for schools and/or engaging local communities with conservation and heritage interpretation projects at historic buildings or sites. It is an opportunity to be part of delivering an ambitious project which will conserve these nationally important monuments and for the first time open-up access to a wide and diverse audience.
